Terms of Use

Draft prepared 2 Nov 2026 for review by counsel before publication. Bracketed items need the operating entity's details.

1. What Oneg is

Oneg is an information service and a travel-arranging service operated by [ENTITY NAME], [address] ("we"). The planner shows hotels, synagogues, kosher food, mikvaos and eruv information gathered from public sources, with the source and the date checked on each listing.

2. Information, not rulings

Nothing on Oneg is a halachic ruling or a kashrut certification. Prayer times change with the season, kashrut supervision changes without notice, eruvin go down, and hotels change their policies. Confirm with the synagogue, the certifying agency, the eruv authority or the hotel before you rely on anything here. Candle-lighting and Shabbat-end times are calculated astronomically for a city centre and may differ from your community's custom; use your community's calendar where it differs.

3. Your use

You may use the planner for personal, non-commercial trip planning. You may not scrape, republish or resell the listings. You are responsible for your own travel decisions and for complying with local law.

4. Links and affiliate relationships

Links to hotels, flights, transfers, tours and insurance may be affiliate links; if you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those bookings are contracts between you and the supplier, under the supplier's terms.

5. Concierge services

Arranging services ("Have it arranged") are provided under the separate Concierge Service Agreement, which applies from the moment you accept a quote.

6. Corrections

If a listing is wrong, use "Report a change" on the listing or write to hello@onegtravel.com. We correct errors as fast as we can but cannot guarantee that every listing is current.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The planner is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information, including a missed minyan, a non-kosher meal, a locked door on Shabbat or a missed flight. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Nassau County, New York, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you other rights.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page is the current version.
