Concierge Service Agreement

Draft prepared 2 Nov 2026 for review by counsel before publication. Bracketed items need the operating entity's details.

1. Parties and scope

This agreement is between [ENTITY NAME] ("Oneg", "we") and the traveller who accepts a quote ("you"). We arrange travel services on your behalf: hotel bookings with Shabbat arrangements confirmed, flights, airport transfers and drivers, kosher meals and groceries, mikvah appointments, tours and related services, as listed in your quote.

2. Tiers and fees

  • Concierge: a planning fee [from $149 per trip], stated in the quote, covering research, booking and written confirmation of Shabbat arrangements.
  • VIP, A to Z: a planning fee [from $499 per trip] plus a service charge of [10%] of the price of services we arrange, stated in the quote.
  • Supplier prices (hotel, airline, driver, caterer) are passed through at cost or at the supplier's published rate; where a supplier pays us a commission we keep it and tell you so.

3. Quote, acceptance and payment

Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until you accept a written quote. On acceptance the planning fee is due and we start work; supplier costs are due as the quote states (usually before we confirm the booking). Payment is by card through [Stripe] or by bank transfer.

4. Cancellation

The planning fee is non-refundable once work has started. Supplier bookings follow the supplier's cancellation terms, which we show you before you accept. If we cannot deliver a confirmed arrangement (for example the hotel withdraws the mechanical key), we tell you at once, propose an alternative, and refund the part of our fee that relates to it if no alternative suits you.

5. Shabbat and kashrut

We confirm arrangements in writing with the supplier and pass that confirmation to you. We do not supervise kashrut and do not give halachic rulings; the hechsher named on a meal or a hotel is the supplier's, and the decision whether it meets your standard is yours. Hotels remain responsible for their own equipment (locks, lifts, sensors).

6. Our responsibility

We act as your agent in arranging services; the supplier is responsible for providing them. We are liable for our own negligence in arranging, up to the total fees you paid us for the trip. We are not liable for supplier failure, weather, strikes, border or security events, or for losses that travel insurance would cover; we recommend insurance and can arrange it.

7. Seller of travel disclosures

[California: CST # ______; Oneg is a participant / not a participant in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.] [Florida: ST # ______.] [Washington: UBI # ______.] [Hawaii: TAR # ______.] [Insert the registrations that apply to the operating entity before accepting a first client from those states.]

8. Data

We use your details as described in the Privacy Notice and share them only with the suppliers needed for your trip.

9. Law and disputes

New York law; courts of Nassau County, New York; mandatory consumer protections of your home country are not excluded.
